About the project
The project assesses the use of modern wireless communication technologies such as 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT) with the goal of building a next-generation remote heath monitoring platform. Unlike the case of legacy Internet applications, Critical IoT applications such as e-health have stricter network performance requirements, such as a higher level of security, high resiliency, low latency, scalability, and interoperability with existing communication systems. In order to fulfil the requirements of such an application, it needs a world-class approach in the design and testing of the entire communication ecosystem, from the end device all the way to the application server.
